Granby Hotel - Scarborough

I had a rough stay, mainly because there was no Wi-Fi in my room. Imagine being stuck without internet for five days! Plus, the reading lights didn't work, and I had to roam around just to find a plug by the bed.

Fine overall experience. Upgraded & absolutely fabulous hotel, unbeatable location close to everything being, friendly attentive staff. Good bed in standard twin room with central heating, an iron and a coffee/tea maker. Spotless shared bathroom.

I had a lovely stay here! The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly, adding a touch of humor to the experience. The location is perfect for exploring. While some areas could use a little updating, I would definitely consider returning for another visit.

While the room was clean, the state of the hotel was disheartening, with neglected areas and thin walls amplifying noise from other guests. The breakfast situation needs improvement; the cramped, hot room detracted from our experience. the location near attractions like Scarborough Castle and Peasholm Park made for enjoyable family outings. Some relaxation came from exploring local landmarks, though the hotel itself requires significant updates.

It's a simple but clean stay that perfectly fit my needs as a single traveler looking to explore.

I spent two nights and enjoyed the karaoke and bingo in the bar. The atmosphere was lively and my kids had a great time. The owner was engaging and made the night enjoyable for everyone.
